Teacher Training

We support the Initial Teacher Training Software Site Licence (ITTSSL) agreed by BESA (the British Educational Suppliers Association), ITTE (The Association for Information Technology in Teacher Education) and TDA (Training and Development Agency).

This means that we will provide a site licence for the following software packages free of charge to establishments with Initial Teacher Training provision:

Textease Studio CT – a suite of nine Textease tools.
Tizzy's First Tools- a fully integrated set of seven ICT tools designed for 4 - 7 year olds.
Teddy Bear Tools- begin to explore ICT functions with Early Years learners.
Podium – the all in one podcasting solution.
Fuse Creator – create interactive activities, quickly and easily.
Honeycomb– creative, e-safe, online tools for the classroom. * Please note: there is a small hosting charge of 50p per student for any Honeycomb accounts.

To obtain a maximum of 20 copies please contact sales@lightbox-ed.com stating the desired titles and your teacher training college.

FREE licenses for students and 20% off your first software buy after graduating*

Under the ITTSSL agreement all Initial Teacher Training (ITT) students are also entitled to a copy of our software in use at their ITT establishment.

You can use the software for personal use for up to one year after you graduate - the licence does not cover the use of the software in any school.

After this first 12 month period has expired, students are requested to cease using the software and uninstall. However, if you would like to extend usage in your first school, you can now receive 20% off your first purchase.

If you are a student at an establishment that does not have an ITTSSL licence for the software you wish to use, you can still purchase this from us at discounted prices.
